The Private Pilot License (PPL) Course is suited to anyone who is looking to obtain a license to fly for leisure and for those who would like to try pilot training for the first time before deciding to pursue commercial flying as a career.

Our PPL course will provide you the basic theories, principles, and skills needed for recreational flying. The training will focus on developing pilot skills that are mandatory to meet the knowledge and skill requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to acquire a Private Pilot License.

PPL pilot trainees will be able to train in our state-of-the-art facilities, modern aircraft and flight simulators; all delivered by our highly experienced and talented ground and flight instructors.

Requirements

To be eligible to enroll in our PPL course, you must meet and submit the following requirements:

  • At least 18 years old (16 years old is allowed provided their parents will sign a Student Pilot Authorization Form, and they must be 17 years old at the PPL checkride)
  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • Hold a valid Class 2 Medical Certificate (FAA will assist in acquiring students medical cert.)
  • NBI Clearance
  • Special Study Permit (SSP) – For Foreign Students

 

Duration

A full PPL course typically takes 4 months to finish, with trainings being conducted 6 days per week, and ground classes delivered on an average of 6 hours per day.

Course Breakdown

  • Private Pilot License ground school
  • 5 hours of Redbird MCX, G1000 equipped
  • 46 hours of Cessna 172/Tecnam P2010 single-engine aircraft (including checkride)
