Multi Engine Rating (MER) Course
A Multi Engine Rating (MER) entitles holders to fly acting as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in a single-engine airplane, as well as multi-engine airplane.
Our MER course will give you first-hand experience in multi-engine specific procedures and operations using advanced Tecnam P2006T twin-engine aircraft.
Requirements
To be eligible to enroll in our MER course, you must meet and submit the following requirements:
- Private Pilot License (PPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Hold an English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 (minimum)
- Hold a valid Radio telephony License
Duration
The MER course typically takes five to six weeks to complete.
Course Breakdown
- Multi-Engine Ground Course (EQC)
- 10 hours of Redbird MCX, G1000 equipped
- 13 hours of Tecnam P2006T twin-engine aircraft (including checkride)
