A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) will permit the holder to act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or co-pilot of a commercially flown aircraft as well as carry passengers or property for compensation or hire.

Our CPL course is for individuals, who already hold a Private Pilot License (PPL) and would like to build their hours and improve their skills set to meet the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) requirement for a Commercial Pilot License.

Requirements

To be eligible to enroll in our CPL course, you must meet and submit the following requirements:

  • Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Hold an English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 (minimum)
  • Hold a valid Radio telephony License
  • Photocopy of the last five (5) pages of Pilot’s Logbook

 

Duration

The CPL course typically takes 8 months to finish, with trainings being conducted 6 days per week, and ground classes delivered on an average of 7 hours per day.

Course Breakdown

  • Commercial Pilot License ground school
  • 10 hours of Redbird MCX, G1000 equipped
  • 105 hours of Cessna 172/Tecnam P2010 single-engine training (including checkride)
