FAA’s Batch 1 Completes First Solo Flight

First Aviation Academy’s first batch of cadets successfully completed their first solo flights last September 2019. The students were awarded with their pilot wings and were officially welcomed to the flying community by FAA’s Accountable Manager, Mr. Arvi Perez and their flight instructors.

For a student to successfully conduct his/her first solo flight, he/she must be able to do one take-off, a short flight and safely land the aircraft on his/her own. The students were given the ceremonial water drenching after their successful first solo flight while the first batch of FAA cadets agreed to shave their heads as a symbol of their new life as a pilot.
