As part of their safety and emergency procedures training, students of First Aviation Academy were sent to the training facilities of Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training, Inc. (PHILCAMSAT) in Maragondon, Cavite for their Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).

Batch 1 did their training last August 12, 2019 while batch 2 did theirs last December 9, 2019. The two groups had a blast as they made their way out of the plunging helicopter simulator.

HUET equip the cadets with the resources and skills needed to stay safe during an emergency water landing event. This course combines practical exercises with theory about different escape techniques, safe deployment of equipment and application of emergency procedures.

Only FAA offers this kind of emergency training program for pilot cadets. Join FAA now to experience this one-of-a-kind training program.
